As the flagship of the SAR9 Series, the Full Size Gen 3 in black pairs a large polymer frame with a 4.5-inch forged steel barrel and matching forged steel slide for a 9mm platform built around a 17+1 round magazine. Tritium night sights front and rear cross a 6.4-inch sight radius, and the slide carries an RMSc optic cut for direct-mount red dots. A flat-face trigger with a 3.4 to 5.6 pound pull sits behind both a manual and internal trigger safety. The three-slot Picatinny rail ahead of the trigger guard accepts lights or lasers for home and range use. Overall length reaches 7.5 inches with a height of 5.6 inches and width of 1.4 inches, and the pistol weighs 26.7 ounces unloaded, striker-fired for a consistent trigger pull shot after shot.
